Happy, Happy Birthday, Baby!

Happy Birthday, sweet girl! How did my baby girl get so big, so fast? It happens in the blink of an eye..

Three years ago today I woke up and told your daddy to head into the city for work. I didn't think you'd be arriving for another day or so. Silly me. Just a few hours later, after many conversations with your Aunt Tammy, we decided I really WAS in labor and to head into the hospital. 4 hours later, you arrived! FAST and full of fury. "It's a GIRL!!" Of course Daddy "knew" all along...

You were tiny and perfect. 7lbs 5oz. A whole pound and a half smaller than your big sister. 

Emma loved you at first sight. Her baby, her little sister. And my heart was so full. 

Every morning you start the day in my arms. We snuggle and hug. It's my favorite part of the day. 

Always smiling and always singing. It's amazing how much joy you bring to everyone around you. 

You're the happiest little girl I know. Full of wonder. 

Full of hugs and kisses. 

You're so incredibly smart. And so incredibly funny. You make me laugh a thousand times a day.

And you love your big sister so. 

You love the wind blowing in your face. Cold lemonade. Warm noodles. 

Silly grins and digging in the dirt. 

You would spend all day outdoors. All day in the lake. All day in the sun, if you could. 

You are amazing, my sweet girl. 

We love you more than all the stars in the sky. All the leaves on all the trees. 

Happy 3rd Birthday, Baby! We love you to the moon and back.
