We had a family of awful sleepers last night. All four of us in a small bed with a toddler who was wide awake, a mama who was having horrible nightmares, and a husband who had to leave at 4 am for a flight, makes for a crabby Monday.
I'm also re-living that day many years ago that changed so many peoples lives forever. September 11th. It was a tragic time for everyone. An especially hard time for us New Yorkers, who lived in a certain state of shock and fear for a long time following. Thinking of all those that we lost. My heart is heavy.

Ima say go with the shrimp. Also.. are you cooking on mother's day? I'm afraid I many HAVE TO COOK.. I don't wanna. Insert foot stomping.
ReplyDeleteI wondered what it might be like where you are. Heavy heavy hearts. Hugs.
I DON'T WANNA EITHER! But, if I want to eat that up there, I'm going to have to.
ReplyDeleteYeah it was a weird, somber day yesterday. I don't like revisiting that time ever, and it's a shock when it's thrown back in your face all of a sudden. But, today was a good day, thanks :)
