Microwave Playdough

There are a million and one recipes for DIY playdough.  This microwave version is my favorite. I keep it in a ziplock bag in the fridge. 

Microwave Playdough

1 cup of water

1 cup of flour
2 teaspoon of cream of tartar
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
1/2 cup of salt

Food coloring

Mix all of the ingredients, except for the food coloring. Microwave for one minute and stir. Cook for 30 more seconds. Keep microwaving at 30 second intervals until playdough is doughy. Knead until smooth. Mix in desired food coloring. Knead till well incorporated.
